Video – Dr. Greene thanks Duval for referendum victory

Nov. 4, 2020 – On Tuesday, Duval County residents voted by 67 % to pass a half-cent sales tax that will go toward creating safer, more enhanced school facilities and learning environments for students and staff.

Watch video above to hear Duval superintendent Dr. Diana Greene thank the community for their support and their investment in not just Duval schools, but also in Duval’s continued greatness.

As Dr. Greene shares in the video, “While this referendum is in many ways about repairing and replacing old buildings…it’s also about investing in our future. Whether it’s our children, or our children’s children…we are paving the way to create the best learning environments possible for generations to come.”
