Learning new worlds, new vocabulary at San Jose Elementary
Rising kindergartners at San Jose Elementary School show off the new vocabulary they've gained through the ESOL Summer Maintenance Program. Almost 400 students districtwide are enrolled in the program, and using tools such as the National Geographic's "Explore Our World." Helping students gain mastery over new languages, says San Jose teacher Ms. Eire, introduces them to a new world. -
Building blocks to success at Alden Road

These students are in the Eco-Dolphins unit, which is one of 10 different units in the school that focus on specific vocational skills. Through the programs, students develop both technical and soft skills, boosting their ability to participate in the workforce and the community. -
